Making Bridges

We had to design and build bridges.

Bicycle Safety

We had Kim visit us is an excellent obstacle course that we had to complete with our bikes.

First we had to check if our helmets were on securely and our bikes were safe to ride.

Then we got to zoom around the course having loads of fun!!!!

Thank you Kim we really enjoyed ourselves.

Making Colour Wheels

We made colour wheels, it was loads of fun.

ANZAC Poppy Art

Room 6 used oil based pastels to create their ANZAC Poppies.  Check out a couple of pictures that have been created.

ANZAC Day

Thank you to the wonderful  Firth leaders and Firth students who came to the Civic Service during the holidays.

Mr Pickering came to visit and talk about schooling in the 1960's

Before our 50th Jubilee we had Mr Pickering come and speak with Room 5 and 6 about schooling when he was a child.  It was great hearing about the things that happened, some things have changed a lot!

Japanese Visitors- March

It was wonderful having the Japanese students come and visit us.  We completed several activities together.  In the afternoon we made charts and compared our 2 countries.
